Mother Wanted to Fight for Custody
A mother gave up her child at a young age and now her daughter wanted to live with her at the age of 14. Then, they helped her stay professional in representing the best interests of her daughter, in spite of threats and intimidation. The result was getting past all the negative show and treating the situation professionally. Her ex-husband finally decided to cooperate and they are working together to listen to the needs of the child.

Family Wants Teen to Finish High School
A seventeen year old high school student was starting to fail and wanted to drop out of school. The Solution Place was called in to work with the young man. They talked to him and discovered what he was passionate about. That night they emailed a reporter for the Philadelphia News that Jeremy idolized. They got back a letter encouraging Jeremy to stay in schoo. Then helped him create a plan to approach the school with an internship program that incorporated his passion for basketball. Jeremy finished high school and did some sports reporting, as well as ended up interviewing the team he was most passionate about.
