Sue Woodward, CEO and Founder Sue grew up in Detroit MI and eventually found her way to New York City, where she worked for Newsweek Magazine for over 11 years, managing the Photo Department, coordinating photo coverage, handling logistics around the world, traveling for news events, and arranging all the aspects required, including research. During the Granada war she found a boat to take the photographers in. In Yugoslavia for the Olympics, she met with the Military to gain special permission for their jet to leave after the airport was closed.
From Newsweek Ms. Woodward took a position as VP of Northeast Jet Company, and over three years helped them move their gross from just over 500,000 dollars to 1.3 million!
Sue later moved to Glen Arbor where she came on with a small engineering firm, Binsfeld Engineering, helping them move their comapny from a small, family owned business to world wide entity.
Eventually Sue took off and started The Solution Place, with offices in Glen Arbor MI and the Seattle area. The company specializes in offering the benefits of executive help without the high overhead. Her clients range from authors, retail businesses, consstruction companies, and any company or family that needs a quick solution to a long standing problem. Here when you need us. Gone when you don't.
Sue's daughter Wendy Garrido joined the business in 2006, with her French husband, Prem Carnot. The three of them continued to provide business support, but also founded North Star Family Matters Magazine, the only magazine dedicated to the emotional health of families and kids.
